College Scholarship Day at Keeneland – Friday, April 2nd College students from across the country will be at Keeneland on opening day April 2 for one of the track’s most popular promotions – College Scholarship Day. Keeneland partners with the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association to host the day.

Full-time college students can register to win one of ten $1,000 scholarships to be given away following each race. Registration begins when gates open at 11 a.m. and will take place in Keeneland’s College Zone, located on the North Terrace. In addition to the ten scholarships, other items will be given away, including a one-year membership to Urban Active , two $250 text book vouchers to eCampus, Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses from Lens Crafters, a HP Pavilion Notebook from Best Buy, a $150 gift card to John Run Walk, a $250 spa package to Posh Salon and Spa, box seats to Keeneland and a $200 gift certificate to Merrick Inn. Keeneland apparel, t-shirts, and gift certificates to local restaurants and retail shops. Winners will be announced immediately following each race.
